John Griswold - President, LEED AP

Prior to starting EES in June of 2008, John managed construction and LEED consulting operations with EcoBilt, LLC. His experience extends beyond the construction and alternative energy space having spent four years with Credit Agricole in New York, NY as part of the International Equity Trading team.  Before which he spent two years with CEB in Washington, DC as an Associate Director of the Finance Practice.

John holds a BA in Economics from Hampden-Sydney and a MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University. Along with being an SC Licensed General Contractor, John is also a LEED Accredited Professional.  He currently serves as a board member with the South Carolina Solar Business Alliance.

David Scully – Director of Business Development

David joined the EcoBilt team in the fall of 2010 after a 5-year career as an Independent Sales Representative in the outdoor apparel industry.  Prior to that he spent 3 years in Commercial Property Management as an on-site building manager for an 85,000 sf building in downtown Charleston.

David holds a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he was a member of the varsity lacrosse team.  He continues his passion for the game as the head coach of a U-15 boys’ team here in Charleston.

Scottie Fraser – Project Manager

A native Kiwi, Scottie began his construction career in New Zealand where he completed a 4-year apprenticeship to become a Certified Master Electrical Tradesman.  Professional rugby brought Scottie to Washington, DC in 2000 where he continued his experience in the construction industry as a Project Supervisor for Kostelic Construction.  In 2003 he started Kiwi Construction, specializing in high-end home remodeling.  In 2006 he went to work for Signature A/V, a systems integration firm focused on the design and installation of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and broadcasting solutions.

With 15 years of electrical contracting experience and detailed knowledge of PV systems, Scottie brings valuable insight to the design, engineering, and installation processes.  New to Charleston as of July, we’re excited to have Scottie as the “Head Sparkie” of our team (it’s a Kiwi thing).
